Asia is a multifaceted artist and educator, holding an associate degree in Vocal Performance from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and a bachelor's degree in Visual and Performing Arts from Savannah State University. From a young age, Asia showcased her musical talents, starting her singing journey in church at the tender age of 3.
A classically trained coloratura soprano, Asia's vocal prowess has been showcased in various productions, including notable roles in The Color Purple, Dream Girls, and Once on This Island. Her passion for music extends beyond vocals, as she is proficient in playing multiple instruments such as piano, guitar, drums, trumpet, and xylophone.
Asia's professional experience includes working at Praise 105.5 WZBN and providing background vocals for artists like Mali Music and local talents in the Savannah area. Her musical journey also led her to open for renowned artist Melvin Crispell III. In addition to her performance career, Asia is dedicated to sharing her musical knowledge and skills as she teaches vocal and piano lessons. Her commitment to education extends to being a music teacher for K-12 students, contributing to the growth and development of aspiring musicians. Asia's diverse talents and dedication make her a valuable presence in both the artistic and educational realms of music.
